Among the society’s officers and members, there are many who can provide talks, walks and guided tours. Contact us if you would like to discuss engaging a speaker.

As mentioned above, the society is unable to do genealogical research, so it is best to contact one of the organisations listed in the box to the right.

Where is Hitchin?

Hitchin lies 50 km north of London in the county of Hertfordshire and the district of North Hertfordshire. It is less than 5 km from Junction 8 of the A1 motorway and is served by First Capital Connect trains from Cambridge, London (King’s Cross) and Peterborough: train times can be found here. It is 10 km from Luton Airport.
