PROGRAMME 2021 – The current situation

Very sadly, because of the continued public health crisis, it has so far been impossible to arrange any ‘normal’ listing of meetings and events for the new Programme year which should have started on Thursday 28th January 2021.

As soon as conditions permit we will plan such activities and meetings as we can. In the meantime, there will initially be two ‘electronic’ offerings available in January and February (**see below; for members only) kindly provided by Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies. As grateful as we are for these talks I am conscious they are not full recompense for the absence of a ‘proper’ Programme. We have to hope that, into the summer, it might be possible to arrange some small scale events/visits and also to aim for renewed indoor Church House meetings (on the normal pattern of the evening of the fourth Thursday in the month) in the autumn.

** The Electronic Meetings in January and February 2021 (Members Only)

Thursday                               Tudor Hertfordshire
28 January                             a talk by Marion Hill
At 7.45 for 8.00 pm

Thursday                               Treasures of Hertfordshire Archives
25 February                            a talk by Janice Brooker

We aim to keep members informed as and when we can while the current situation evolves. In addition, updates will also be included here on the Society’s website.
