HITCHIN MARKET – A picture essay of the early 2000s
This is an exhibition of photographs by HHS member Simon Maddison, and runs at the museum from 5 September to 2 October. Admission is free.

We hope you will support this exhibition – it all helps to prove that history isn’t just about the distant past. The early 2000s may seem like yesterday to some of us, but it’s amazing how much changes in such a short space of time. It is wonderful that photographers, stretching back to Thomas Latchmore in Victorian times, have recorded life in our town. This exhibition continues that great tradition.
