In November 2002, Metford Robson gave a talk to Hitchin Historical Society on the extensive subject of Hitchin’s Quaker history. Metford had lived in Hitchin for many years, and is a “Birthright” member of the Religious Society of Friends. This ten-page transcript of his talk was published in a limited edition at the time, and has long-since been out of print.
