Launch of Old Hitchin on Film DVD 2

Richard Whitmore, Sam Hallas and Tim Ray open surprise gifts from the Society

Hitchin Historical Society launched volume two of Old Hitchin on Film at the Queen Mother Theatre in Walsworth Road on Saturday 5th December 2016. The two presenters, Richard Whitmore and Sam Hallas, showed extracts from the DVD, with Tim Ray in the projection room.

There was a reception afterwards in the foyer of the main theatre, where copies of the DVD were on sale for £10 and selling briskly, with Richard signing them on request. The DVD is on sale from the Society See also ‘Contact Us’.

While stocks of volume 1 last, if you buy a copy of volume 2 you will be able to buy a copy of volume 1 at the bargain price of £3. Volume 2 is proving to be very popular and we have had to replenish our stock twice already!
