
The Physic Garden lies within the grounds of the
former Hitchin Museum at Paynes Park, Hitchin.
It is maintained by volunteers.

Warning!
Some of the plants in the garden are toxic
– do not touch or consume any of them.
They can cause allergic reactions, irritate the skin and eyes or make people sick. Please supervise children and pets when visiting.
There are red warning signs in the garden reminding visitors not to touch any of the plants.
The garden is divided into four sections:
– Household; – William Ransom border; – External Ailments; – Internal Ailments.
