The Physic Garden lies in the grounds of the former Hitchin Museum and Art Gallery, next to the Library, in Paynes Park, Hitchin, Hertfordshire SG5 1EH.
The Physic Garden is generally open at the following times:
Monday to Saturday: 9am to 6pm Sunday: 10am to 6pm
Parking: there is limited free parking in Nun’s Close and in the Library car park. There are car parks on the opposite (east) side of Paynes Park (A505) and there is a large Waitrose car park nearby in Old Park Road.
The garden is in the care of the Society, and is run by volunteers.
Dr Gerry Tidy is the liaison officer between the Society and the volunteers.
